Care Instructions

Keep your sustainable swimwear looking beautiful for years to come

🌊 After Swimming

Rinse your swimwear immediately after use in cool, fresh water to remove chlorine, salt, sunscreen, and oils. This simple step significantly extends the life of your swimsuit and preserves its vibrant colors.

Gently squeeze out excess water - never wring or twist the fabric, as this can damage the fibers and elastic.

✅ Do

  • Hand wash in cool water with mild detergent
  • Rinse thoroughly after every use
  • Lay flat to dry in shade
  • Store in a cool, dry place
  • Remove immediately after swimming
  • Use a mesh laundry bag if machine washing

❌ Don't

  • Use hot water or harsh detergents
  • Wring or twist the fabric
  • Tumble dry or use a dryer
  • Iron your swimwear
  • Sit on rough surfaces while wearing
  • Leave in direct sunlight to dry
🧴

Washing

Hand wash in cool water (max 30°C) with a gentle, eco-friendly detergent. If machine washing, use a delicate cycle in a mesh bag and avoid fabric softeners.

☀️

Drying

Lay flat on a clean towel in the shade. Never hang to dry as this can stretch the fabric. Avoid direct sunlight which can fade colors and damage elastic fibers.

🧴

Storage

Store completely dry in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid folding or compressing for extended periods to maintain shape and elasticity.

♻️ Sustainable Care Tips

Our eco-friendly fabrics are designed to last, but proper care is essential:

  • Use biodegradable, ocean-safe detergents to protect marine life
  • Wash less frequently - rinsing after use is often enough
  • Air drying saves energy and extends fabric life
  • Repair small tears or loose threads instead of replacing

⚠️ Important Notes

Sunscreen & Oils: Apply sunscreen 15-20 minutes before putting on your swimsuit to prevent staining and fabric damage.

Hot Tubs & Spas: High temperatures and chemicals can damage elastic fibers. Rinse immediately after use.

Rough Surfaces: Avoid sitting on rough pool edges, rocks, or concrete to prevent pilling and snagging.

Multiple Suits: Rotate between suits to allow elastic fibers to recover between wears.
